I don’t really have a special blog post planned for today, so here’s a bunch of random thoughts for your Wednesday!
-I started reading Moms on Call to prep for baby and it’s made me a little bit nervous because there’s so much to remember. I was telling Dustin some of the info and he said I needed to bookmark everything haha! I’m interested to see how this will work for us since the first two weeks of our baby’s life will be spent in ICPC and not at home.
-I’ve had so many people comment on how soft my hair is and even ask to touch it! I credit this spray for really helping turn my damaged hair into healthy hair. I spray it on after I towel dry my hair and before I brush it. I also spray pretty liberally–it doesn’t make my hair greasy. Then I let it sit in my hair a little bit before I dry my hair.
-A little confession: I have been pretty unmotivated to workout the last few months. I ended up canceling my gym membership in order to save a little bit of money for the adoption, but now I’m really wishing I didn’t. Out of everything, I enjoy running the most but I can think of every excuse in the book: it’s too cold, I’m tired after school, I hate all the hills in our neighborhood.
-I’m in the middle of reading Where the Crawdads Sing, and I think after that I’m going to read The Great Alone, which is the other book Dustin got me for Christmas. He did so good this year getting me two books that I had mentioned wanting to read–I was so surprised!
-I talked last night on IG stories about being desperate for contacts. I first got reading glasses in 3rd grade, but because I have a lazy eye and a stigmatism, my eyes have gotten much worse over the years. Now I not only wear my glasses when I read, but also when my eyes are tired–basically all the time. I can’t stand touching my eye or anyone else touching theirs, but I’m desperate!! So many people responded and it looks like dailies might be the easiest since they are so thin? I’m calling the eye doctor today during my planning period to make an appointment.
