Happy Friday, y’all! Today I’ve got a few favorites to share with y’all 🙂
Books
Normally I wouldn’t share until I’m completely finished, but I’m almost halfway through this Kristin Hannah book and it’s wonderful! I’ve already read The Great Alone and The Nightingale by her and absolutely loved both of those. You know sometimes you read a book by an author and then you don’t want to read any others because you don’t think the author can top that book? That’s how I felt about this one and I’m so glad I started reading it. SO SO GOOD!!
Speaking of reading, Harrison loves reading too! He has a couple of books that are his favorite (like the one pictured) that he’ll bring me over and over wanting to sit in my lap and read them. At this point, I’ve got all of those books memorized so I don’t even need to open them ha!
New Podcasts
This is a new podcast that just debuted and I’ve listened to all three episodes and LOVE THEM!! First, they are all under 30 minutes which is important to me because I don’t have a ton of time to listen to a long podcast in one sitting–not like I used to. Also, Jinger and her husband Jeremy’s theology is solid. Episode 2 on the Imago Dei has been my favorite so far (and it’s only 17 minutes long!!!).
Need a podcast that sounds like you’re listening to a book? This one is for you! Right these ladies are producing season 3 (and only releasing one episode a week so it’s killing me) and season 3 is focusing on Beyonce and Jay Z. SO INTERESTING. Season 1 was all about Princess Diana and Meghan Markle and how they are so similar (I found this one both interesting and sad) and season 2 was all about the Murdoch family (very dysfunctional). These hosts are fun to listen to, so I HIGHLY recommend this podcast!
A Favorite Youtube Video
Mallory Ervin is my favorite person to watch on youtube and one of my favorite instagram follows. I absolutely LOVE her bedroom and told Dustin I’m ready to redo our bedroom and use hers as inspiration haha! I love how dreamy and relaxing it feels!

I love Kristen Hannah– the three you mentioned are all great. Home Front is another great one of hers too oh and Winter Garden..I love those two too.
Mallory’s bedroom is GORGEOUS! I need to check out that first podcast. I would love one that is 30 min or less – perfect when out for a walk!
Firefly Lane has a sequel!! I think it just came out last year. I love Kristin Hannah’s books.
