November is National Adoption Awareness Month! I am so thankful for adoption and the way it has built our family. Adoption made me a mother. Adoption made these boys brothers. While adoption begins with a tragedy, it becomes a beautiful story of a family built because of love.

I am forever grateful to the boys’ birth mothers for choosing me to be their boys’ mom. They gave me a gift that I thought was never possible for Dustin and me. Each woman chose life over convenience, and because of that choice, we have Harrison and Banks.

I’d love to talk with anyone who is interested in adoption and share my story!
