I just checked and my last blog post was at the end of March–oops! I started back to school April 3rd and naively, I was not expecting to be so exhausted and so busy. I guess I must have blocked all of that out from Harrison’s newborn days haha! I was going to blog about our coronation party, but instead, I’m going to do a quick April catch up.
Banks started the little preschool program that Harrison goes to (both boys just go part time) and I have loved getting pictures of him dressed up for different scenes. This was the first themed one I got–isn’t he the cutest?! Getting these pictures and also getting constant updates from the app has made me feel like I am still with him during the day.
We celebrated our first Easter as a family of four, and it was so sweet. We don’t do the Easter bunny at our house, so Momma and Daddy filled Harrison’s and Banks’s baskets with lots of goodies–and a Crumbl cookie for Harrison!
This big boy has been the best big brother. Also, doesn’t he look so big right here? Where did my baby go?
Daddy started taking care of the boys by himself on his off days during the week. He sent me this picture of their first day together and I learned I needed to set out clothes before I leave for school in the morning haha!
Banks also started rolling over constantly and has the best neck control of a 3 month old that I know.
My favorite candy is really hard to find (this and Lemonheads) so I found it at Kroger one day and sent a picture to my friend Hailey to celebrate! It’s the little things 🙂
The stomach bug hit our house HARD in April. Everyone was sick except for me #momtakescareofeveryone. It hit Banks first and the worst–we had to take him to the ER for fluids because we couldn’t get him to stop throwing up or to keep any amount of liquid down. Then a day after discharge, Harrison and Dustin got sick at the same time. I sent Dustin upstairs to be sick and the rest of us were downstairs. It got to where I would be in the middle of feeding Banks and Harrison would tell me he’s about to throw up, so I’d grab the garbage can and hold it for Harrison while Banks is in my other arm. It was the most exhausting day of my life.
Harrison had his end of the year program at his preschool and it was the sweetest! He found us in the crowd and had to wave 🙂
That’s pretty much our April! My mom is retiring at the end of this school year after over 38 years of teaching, so we have a retirement party to go to after school today!!!

Whew, I’m worn out just thinking about all that sickness hitting at once! Take care of yourself! The boys are just the cutest.
