Happy Monday, y’all! This weekend was absolute bliss and it flew by so quickly. I thought about doing a weekend recap post, but I’ve gotten terrible about taking pictures of everything–probably because I’m so busy keeping up with Harrison ha! So I thought I’d do another Simple Joys post in case you need a little positivity on a Monday 🙂

It finally feels like fall in north Alabama! At 7am on Saturday morning it was only 60 degrees and a little drizzly. Dustin went to his hunting camp all day Saturday to work so it was just me and Harrison. We met my mom and sister early for coffee and breakfast at our local coffee shop, and my sister and I both showed up in a Peloton top! It was unplanned and way too funny. After we ate, we walked around downtown which was deserted because it was still too early for the shops to be open. Saturday morning was just perfection.

These fall temps having me wanting to add more sweaters to my closet! This cute sweater comes in a ton of colors and reminds me of something Free People would make–and FP sweaters are my favorite.

I finished reading this book in just a couple of days and LOVED it! I enjoy novels that give me the points of view of multiple characters throughout the book. If you aren’t familiar with this book, you’ll need to read the first one before starting Majesty, which is the sequel. This novel series imagines what life would be like the the U.S. if George Washington were our first KING instead of president. It’s so entertaining!
Don’t forget to come back Wednesday and link up for the fall fashion prompt!

I’m almost done with Majesty and I’m loving it, too! I just love Katharine McGee! She can write some page turners! If you haven’t read her other series The Thousandth Floor, read that one next!!!! It’s a trilogy and it’s complete and I promise you won’t be able to put any of them down!
