Happy Friday! I am SO happy to see Friday here–this has been an exhausting school year so far. I told Dustin I hoped that the entire school year didn’t feel like this 🙂
As usual, I’m sharing a few FAVORITES with y’all today!
ONE
Harrison’s first soccer game was on Tuesday, and let me tell you, 3 year old soccer is HILARIOUS! Half of our team is made up of competitive kids and the other half (the half Harrison belongs to) is made up of kids who either stand on the field unmoving or run off the field constantly (aka Harrison). It’s been very entertaining and my #1 FAVORITE of the week!
TWO
I finished The Flatshare a few days ago and I loved the letter writing premise of it. The main character was quirky and likable, and the novel even dived into emotional abuse–which is something I didn’t even expect.
THREE
I started The Wedding Veil after I finished The Flatshare and IT IS SO GOOD! I wish I could stay awake late enough to read because I really don’t want to put it down. I love that it’s told from different points of view in different time periods. Sometimes stories like that can get confusing, but this one isn’t.
FOUR
Harrison was gifted this train table recently and we put it upstairs in the playroom. It’s been a great toy for him to have and for us to use to play together. I had a sweet follower message on instagram and said that her older boys now use it for legos–can’t wait to do that when he gets older! This is the train set we have and here is the table! It has storage underneath, too!
FIVE
I started watching Good Witch and I am really enjoying it! I was rewatching Gilmore Girls again, but randomly decided to watch Good Witch since I never watched it when it ran on Hallmark Channel. If you’re looking for something good to watch, it’s on Netflix!
That’s it for this week! Dustin and I are going out to eat tonight for a date night and tomorrow, my mom, Harrison, and I are going to an apple orchard. I am excited to have some fresh apple cider!
