Friday FAVES!

Happy Friday, y’all!!!

Doesn’t today feel like Sunday?  Yesterday felt like Saturday to me–I know my days are all messed up when I’m not in school because I couldn’t tell you what day of the week it is all summer long haha!

I hope y’all had a great 4th yesterday!  We did because it was Harrison’s first!!  We didn’t go watch any fireworks this year, but we can’t wait to take him to watch them next year.  On our way home yesterday, Dustin and I were talking about how different this year is than last year.  This year we drove a very tired, crying baby home to go to bed and last year we were watching the fireworks from a boat on the river.  My, how times have changed lol!

Today I’m sharing a few of my FAVORITES with y’all!

I always browse the points items in Sephora at the counter each time I check out.  Usually I save my points, but the last time I found a face wash I wanted to try out.  I’ve always just used a face wash from Walmart but I know my sister used to use face products from this brand.  The sample I got (for 100 points) is a large size and I’ve realized it doesn’t take much to wash my face.  I’m a HUGE fan and will be buying a normal size when I run out of the sample!!  It’s for all skin types and is very gentle on my sensitive skin.


For Monday’s blog post, I shared this dress and got so much positive feedback!  Not only did everyone compliment the dress, but everyone was so kind to me 🙂  It’s just another reason why I love blogging and connecting with people–y’all are all so kind!!



We celebrated our first 4th of July as a family of three yesterday and having Harrison makes me SO excited to celebrate all holidays!  He makes life so much fun 🙂  I cannot wait for baby Harrison in a Halloween costume!!


And I’ve decided to start something new for my Friday Favorites posts–I used to share a favorite song each week, but I found that sometimes what I liked one week was still the same the next week haha!  So I’ll be sharing my favorite Instagram or Blog of the week!

Kate from Lonestar Southern has been a FAVORITE to follow lately.  And isn’t her wedding dress just gorgeous?!  She just celebrated one month of marriage, so her blog and instagram have been covered in wedding content and I’ve been loving it all!  Look her up on IG at @lonestarsouthern or find her blog here!

    First of all, I'm LOVING seeing sweet baby Harrison in all of his seasonal outfits-those are a favorite at our house, too 😉
    And secondly, Kate is a favorite of mine too-I just love how real her insta stories are…she always has me laughing!
