Happy Saturday, y’all! I never post on a Saturday, but if you’ve seen any of the teaching memes about this past week (full moon, red ribbon week dress up days, Halloween), then you understand why I never posted about my birthday–I WAS TIRED! LOL
My birthday celebration started last Friday at school thanks to my friend, Kaylen!

The cutest apple bar for the teachers in our lunch wave!

These cuties cheered on Alabama to a win against Texas A&M and it was nice to win again after losing for 2 weeks in a row :). It definitely helped to make my birthday dinner more fun ha!

Then we celebrated my birthday with family on Saturday evening because our Sunday was packed. One of my favorite bbq restaurants around here has an item on their menu called Redneck Nachos, so I wanted those recreated for my birthday dinner. They were so good!

Merritt was not a fan of the candles ha! And someone who will not be named didn’t get me any candles, so we used what was in the extra birthday supplies and I let Banks put them in the cake.

After everyone left, I caught Merritt up on the dining room table tasting more icing :). I quickly moved the cake to the kitchen counter haha
Sunday I woke up to Happy Birthdays and presents! We went to church and had lunch at Moes Southwest afterward, and Harrison declared that his new favorite place to eat.

I just love them so much!
Later that afternoon, our church had a fall festival, so we trunk-or-treated, went on a hayride, ate really great burgers, and then listened to some guys from church play music! It was a great birthday weekend turning 39!
