Hey y’all! I’m so happy to be back to blogging! I took a long break from blogging back when everything started to get crazy. We did online learning at my school, and it ended up getting pretty overwhelming at times simply because my husband was considered an essential worker and it’s hard to work and watch a very active one year old at the same time.
I also finally bought my own domain (I’m no longer blogspot.com!!) and made the swap over to WordPress, and that’s going to take some trial and error getting used to it.
Alright–I’m sharing a few of my FAVORITE things with y’all today and lots of them are about Harrison!!
This little boy is a MESS!! He knows he’s allowed to play in the tupperware drawers, so he loves opening them and throwing every container out. I used to try to keep them organized, but not anymore. I started teaching him to put the containers back in the drawer and that’s something we’ve accomplished during this time. He’s much better about cleaning up!
Harrison can walk now! Isn’t that the craziest? Actually, he’s not walking–he’s running! I am loving it so much because Harrison runs around the house babbling so much; it’s really the cutest thing ever.
I have LOVED having extra time at home because I have been riding my Peloton about every other day (don’t want to wash my hair every day lol). I’m not the biggest fan of working out, so I need something that keeps me entertained and wanting to work out. I love the Peloton because every ride is different, so I never know what to expect. Cody is my favorite instructor!
Harrison has had a few rough nights sleeping–where he goes to bed fine and then 45 minutes to an hour later he wakes up crying hysterically. One night I ended up getting him and letting him lay down with me for a little bit while Dustin was still awake (we are not co-sleepers), and instead of him falling asleep, he kept sitting up and laying his head on me or laughing. So I had to take a picture ha! And then I put him down in his crib and he went right to sleep!
Okay last thing–I shared this on my blog Facebook page, but I bought a new mop after watching @gocleanco on instagram and I LOVE IT!!! I also mop with the solution she recommends–just mix hot water with 1 tsp of Tide powder detergent. The first time I mopped with that the water was absolutely DISGUSTING!! The second time (6-7 days later) the water wasn’t as dirty, but it was still gross.
I hope y’all have a great weekend and Happy Memorial Day!! I will see y’all back here on Monday!

What type of floor do you use the mopping solution on?
Sarah Shaneyfelt says
You can use it on any flooring! I have engineered hardwood and it cleaned it perfectly and my mom has real hardwood. You can also use it on laminate, tile, etc.
