Happy Friday, friends–it’s been a long week even though it’s only been a 4 day work week. I started out not feeling good, had a painful procedure done, and then my grandfather was admitted to ICU. Please pray for him and my family.
Because of the craziness, blogging has taken a backseat (other than the 2 scheduled posts I already had) and I’ve hardly read any blogs. I’m hoping to have time this weekend to catch up on reading and commenting.
As I always do on Fridays, I’m sharing a few of my FAVORITE things with y’all!
Last Saturday morning I hosted a college football kickoff breakfast and it was so fun that I’m going to make it a yearly tradition for the first Saturday of college football. Since it was a new thing, we just had our parents and my sister and BIL over to eat pancakes, turkey sausage, and drink coffee while College Gameday was on the tv. Everyone had a great time, so I’m already looking forward to next year and inviting more people!
That night we went over to our friends’ house to watch the game and their little girl greeted us at the door with her new pet squirrel her grandparents had found that day 😂 It was hilarious because she has my mom for science class and told me her plans to grow that squirrel and make it a scarf haha!
The next few pictures are horrible quality and I snapped them quickly, but they are a few things that caught my eye.
I absolutely love these candle sticks and really tried to buy them while I was buying everything else at PB Sunday.
I also tried to convince Dustin that we needed to replace all of our living room pillows with down pillows from PB and get a few of these covers.
I need this mirror for the entryway….hint hint Dustin
I posted about how to wear white after Labor Day on Tuesday and loved this shot from my session with my sister! We have a lot of fun shooting these looks together.
I love comfortable clothes so much. On Tuesday after I got home from my doctor’s appointment, all I wanted to do was put on something comfortable and lay on the couch. If I could have worn my Matilda Jane top with these pj pants, I know my day would have been great haha!
