First of all, Happy Cinco de Mayo to all of you planning to celebrate tonight 😜
Friday is always my favorite post day of the week. I love seeing y’all’s favorite things because sometimes those things become some of my favorite things!
If you watched any of my IG stories Wednesday afternoon (@saraheshaneyfelt), you saw where I am looking for jean shorts for this summer. Not wanting jeans shorts that make me look frumpy but also not wanting jean shorts that a 21 year old would wear. Being 29 is a hard age to dress because you don’t want to look too old but also you definitely don’t want to look like you’re still trying to be a college kid again.
Here are a few I’ve found–tell me which is your favorite! (and which one is age-appropriate)
For those of y’all who love Southern Charm as much as I do, it was really exciting to see Cameron’s pregnancy announcement! I hope this plays out in the show. And speaking of Southern Charm, anyone else going to watch Southern Charm: Savannah Monday night? The people look crazy, but Savannah and Tybee were where we honeymooned so I’m hoping to see some of the places we went.
Monday I posted all about Matilda Jane’s May release and this top is my favorite! I can’t wait for it to come in so I can start wearing it. So cute! (Also the best white jeans I’ve ever worn)
One of my goals for April was to buy curtains for the dining room (I mean, it’s not like we’ve lived in our home for almost 2 years or anything 🙈🙈) I had been eyeing these curtains since we bought the table and once I saw them on sale for a price I was willing to pay, I ordered them.
The lighting isn’t the greatest in this room but I love these curtains so much! I can’t wait to start (slowly) buying artwork for the walls and finishing the room up.
I love that we live so close to our town’s park. And I love that so many people in my city use it–every morning and afternoon that I drive by it going to and from school, I am constantly seeing so many people either using the track or playing disc golf or hanging in a bunch of enos.
This weather is also perfect for dining al fresco…a huge favorite for me!
