Happy Friday! It has been a BEAUTIFUL week and yesterday was just the cherry on top. We’ve got bad weather coming in on Saturday and I guess that’s the price you pay for gorgeous spring weather in March in Alabama
Today I’m sharing a few FAVORITES with y’all!
one

Harrison has found a chapter book series that he’s obsessed with reading and now wants to read all the time. One of his good friends was at the library when we were recently, and he was checking out the next Dragon Masters book. Harrison asked if he could check it out, so I said sure. He’s been reading nonstop and is now in book 4. He came in the bathroom Sunday morning while I was finishing getting ready and he was reading :). I love that he loves to read!

This little cutie came to visit me one day this week!!! My mom picked her up from preschool one morning to spend some time with her, so she brought her by my school during my planning. Harrison rides the bus to my school daily and Banks has been to my school a few times but Merritt has never been. She had a great time sitting in my desks and walking down the hall like a big girl.

Tis the season to start tanning!!! ๐

I use these facial tanning drops about once a week in order to maintain some sort of color. At night after my shower, I mix in 3 drops with some moisturizer (I use my mom’s tallow cream) and rub all over my face and neck. When I wake up the next morning, my face has a bit of color to it and I feel like I look healthy again haha

For my body, I use this tanning mousse and put it on with this mitt. Even though it says express tan, I do wear it all day before I shower it off at night and it’s never been an extreme color. I don’t like sleeping in self tanner because I can be a hot sleeper, so I put it on in the morning and wear it all day. I don’t find that it has a smell either. I don’t wear it a ton during the winter, but now that it’s starting to warm up and I’m wearing shorter dresses, I’m putting on this self tanner more often (maybe once a week?) until I’m able to tan for real.

Have you been thinking about Easter outfits, or is it just me?! Banks modeled this adorable set not too long ago at The Robin’s Nest. I’m actually heading there today after school to hopefully pick out the babies’ Easter outfits so I can go ahead and mark those off my list. I have always loved buying new clothes for Easter and that started when I was a kid and my mom would buy my sister and I new dresses for Easter. Now I enjoy buying my kids new clothes for Easter–it’s just something about the pastel colors and spring weather and the fact that summer is coming that makes me so happy!
