Friday Faves is one of my FAVORITE posts to write each week, so I’m glad to be participating today! I would have gotten it done last night like I normally do, but by the time we got done bathing Harrison and put him down, I was exhausted haha!
I have LOTS of things to share with y’all today so let’s get started!
ONE
Harrison turned one month old on Wednesday and I have no idea how time flew so fast! Since he was born 5 weeks premature, he weighed 4lb 7oz at birth and was 17 inches long. On Wednesday he was 6lb 10oz and 19 3/4 inches long! I couldn’t believe it! I knew he had grown but I was still thinking he was in the 5 pound club haha. We’re still wearing preemie clothes because the newborn clothes really are still too big on him. I don’t want to wish this size away because he’s the cutest, but I’m also ready for him to be able to wear all of the cute clothes hanging in his closet lol!

When we got the phone call a little over a week ago that we were allowed to leave Texas, we quickly booked plane tickets for a flight that was 2.5 hours out and literally RUSHED to get to the airport to get home. Our families and friends were at our house waiting on us to meet Harrison and my sister took a few pictures…
Rachel and my BIL Nick met us at the airport to put some of our luggage in their car. I’m still driving a car and when we were headed to the airport to fly out on March 1, we realized quickly that we needed an suv immediately. I’ve wanted to go back to an suv the past few years but it wasn’t really a “need” and my car was finally paid for, so I told Dustin we would wait until we had a baby to upgrade. Well, since Harrison was such a surprise, we need an suv sooner rather than later, so we’ve now started to research the ones I like and find something that’s in the budget we have set for ourselves.
Mom met us out in the garage because she could not wait any longer haha!
THREE
About a month and a half ago, I used an old gift card to grab some new jeans. These are BY FAR my FAVORITE jeans. Our travel day to Texas was literally an all day event because of delays, and normally I would want to wear leggings and tennies. But these jeans were super comfortable. They are thick but not too thick so you feel supported and they are like leggings. They are pricey (I do like to spend more on jeans) but I may never buy from another brand again!
FOUR
Since I’m washing my hands constantly, a good lotion is a must. I got this from Dustin for Christmas and I’m using it all the time!
FIVE
I was telling my friend Julie the other day how I watch Rachel Parcell’s IG stories and die laughing at how hilarious she and her sisters are together. Does that make me lame? Maybe 😜 but they literally make me laugh out loud! Yesterday they went wedding dress shopping for her sister Megan and I laughed so hard watching the stories. Either they really are hilarious or it’s the sleep deprivation ha!!
And her Nordstrom line releases soon and I can’t wait to order a dress for Easter!! Yay for free shipping and free returns!!!
