Happy Friday! I cannot believe September is already halfway over–this school year is flying by! It’s already been so much better than last school year and I am hoping it stays that way.
As usual, I’m sharing a few of my FAVORITES with y’all!
One
I was walking through the baby section at Target the other day on my way to grab Harrison a few snacks and stopped immediately when I saw this tshirt!! I love the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Dustin and I went to see them in concert in Memphis before we began the adoption process. It was a really fun concert and a fun overnight trip to Memphis!
Two
My sister and I had a really fun sister date earlier this week on Tuesday night. We ate at The Railyard–which is one of my favorite local places to eat. We had big plans of eating, but ended up getting so full off of the charcuterie board we split. And I just realized after looking at this picture that even though Rachel and I don’t look anything alike (there’s a 6ish” difference in height haha), we apparently have the same nose–it’s the first time I ever noticed that!
Three
I know it’s premature to rave about this book, but I just started chapter 2 and am hooked. I know it usually takes a while to get into a book, but this one has hooked me. I am sometimes weary of celebrity book club picks–which is why I was hesitant to even read this one and asked someone about it before purchasing–but this one has gone against all expectations!

I HAVE SO MANY THOUGHTS ABOUT THIS SHOW!!!! First of all, I’m about 5 years too late–which is normal for me finding good tv shows ha! But I was OBSESSED season 1–could not stop raving about it. And then season 2 had me experiencing so much anxiety and rage (my poor friend Jaime dealt with all of my text messages haha) that I even had to tell Dustin how mad I was. I just finished episode 1 of season 3 and I think I may be in a better place with this new season. Anyway, I feel like I need a vacation from everything so I can sit and binge watch this show to get it all finished before I have to start watching my Hallmark Christmas movies LOL Anyone watched Poldark, and what are your thoughts? If you want to watch it, it’s on Prime Video!
I’m off to bed now (it’s almost 9PM on Thursday night and I’m exhausted). We have our town’s annual festival this Saturday and I’m excited! Last year’s was cancelled obviously, so I can’t wait for this year’s!

Ohhh I started watching Poldark! I think I am still on season 1. I accidently read what happens though, at least in part, and it made me kind of want to stop – probably for the same reason you are mad, haha! We will definitely have to talk about it!
Oh my goodness, We love Poldark! I felt that same anxiety and rage, but it gets better.
