I have been wanting to get my eyebrows microbladed since I first learned about it. I remember reading a magazine article when I was in college about how important eyebrows were for your face, so that’s when I first started coloring in my eyebrows. I’ve used all different types of eyebrow pencils and even brow gel (which I hated). **Side note: This pencil is my favorite one I’ve ever used and I used the color brunette.
Once I got more serious about looking at microblading, I started looking on instagram at accounts of microblading artists in areas around me. Because I live in a small town, I had already assumed I would probably be driving 30ish minutes to use someone that I felt was talented and had the look I wanted. I finally found someone that had the same look I was going for and turns out, she was located in my town! I could not believe it!!
Here’s my transformation!!!
CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!?!?! They look amazing and I am so happy that I got them done! I’ve always wanted an arch and now I finally have one 🙂 I really like going without makeup during the summer and now my face looks so much better since I have defined brows.
These were a few of the most common questions asked on IG:
Did it hurt?
(I got this one multiple times) Funny enough, I never even thought about the possibility of it hurting until my sister sent me a tiktok of two older ladies crying about how much it hurt. I was pretty nervous after that. Thankfully, it didn’t hurt at all, but I do have a high pain tolerance. The actual microblading part was what I would call the most irritating just because of the scraping, but I was able to maintain a conversation the whole time. She does numb during certain parts of it!
How much did it cost?
I know this varies from area, but mine was $550 plus tip and that included the microblading and the touch up a few weeks later. TOTALLY WORTH IT!
What was the process?
I was very impressed with the entire process. She mapped out and measured my new brows and then once I looked at them, she did the mircroblading and the tattooing to shade. Once that was over, I had to wash my brows every 2-3 hours for the first 2-3 days. Then I applied an ointment on them after each wash. I couldn’t workout until after 4 days and then after that, I just had to wash my brows right after I sweated.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Savannah at The Blush Artistry for your eyebrows!
