Friday Faves!

Happy Friday! We’ve got a packed weekend planned and then gearing up for our beach trip next week. We are still being pretty cautious with going anywhere (as in, really not going anywhere ha) so I’m excited to finally go on vacation but also a bit nervous about the crowds.

As usual, I’m sharing a few of my FAVORITES with y’all today!

I love making homemade pizza using the two ingredient dough recipe! It’s easy to whip up if you decide you want to make pizza last minute because you aren’t having to let dough rise. Harrison and I always share a pizza, so this time I let him add the pepperoni to my side. It was so funny watching him drop those pepperoni, and he was really enjoying it. If you like my apron, I bought it here (it’s on sale!!) with matching mitts!

I’m buying up a few odds and ends of things that I’m running low on before we leave for vacation. This is bronzer is something I can’t seem to quit using. Usually I like to try out different products, but I don’t know if anything is better! It’s waterproof, so it stays on when you sweat (great for those southern summers) or if you wear make up to swim. I highly recommend this bronzer because I’ve been using it for many years!

I made this bread recipe yesterday morning, and it was so good! I really wanted to make bread, but as I was scanning through Shay’s recipes, I didn’t have any fresh fruits on hand since we’re trying to eat what we’ve got instead of running to the grocery store. I had pumpkin in the pantry and everything else, so I made this! It was so nice eating a warm slice right out of the oven with a cup of coffee 🙂 Pumpkin is not just for fall, right?!

I’ve been keeping y’all up to date on all of the books I’ve been reading as soon as I finish, and since I finished Firefly Lane last Friday, I needed a new book. Monday afternoon I went to my local library after my workshop was over and checked this book out. I haven’t been reading it a ton because I’m saving it for the beach. I’ve read a couple of chapters and I really like the premise of the book so far. I’ve read three Kristin Hannah books and I’ve loved them all, so I have high hopes for this one.

Don’t you love this personality?! Haha! Harrison loves riding in his red car, so we ride it every day as long as it’s not raining. His outfit is Bailey Boys and I bought it here!
