I am so very excited to share today’s post with y’all! I was checking my blog for a recipe about two weeks ago, and realized that I haven’t posted a recipe in forever! I couldn’t believe it because cooking and baking really are my favorite things to do. I told Dustin that I’m going to make it a point to blog more of the things that I make, and I’ve got a few to share with y’all soon!
The reason why I’m excited about today’s post is that I have found the best and easiest pizza dough recipe!! I LOVE pizza–that’s no lie, but I really love to make it myself. Up until recently, I had been making a dough that required a couple of hours of rising, so you really had to prepare to make pizza. This recipe–absolutely no rising. It’s like a miracle and I’m really excited to get to share it with y’all!
Two Ingredient Pizza Dough
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup non-fat plain Greek yogurt
olive oil
**This makes 2 personal pizzas
1. Preheat your oven to 500 degrees
2. Brush your pizza pan (I use a stone) with a little olive oil
3. Add flour and yogurt to your mixer and mix with your dough hook, if you have one..otherwise use your hands
4. The dough will be really sticky so flour your surface and coat all sides. Tear the dough in half, coat your dough in flour and flatten out on your pizza stone.
5. Brush top of your dough with olive oil and bake 5-6 minutes
6. Place all toppings on your pizza and bake again 11-12 minutes, or until dough is cooked all the way through
You will LOVE this dough recipe! Dustin really likes it, and I love that I can decide we’re having pizza and it’s out of the oven and ready to eat in less than 30 minutes!
