Remember me?
I feel like it’s been forever since I’ve blogged or even read blogs. As of Tuesday night (when I’m writing this), we’re still stuck in Texas waiting on the state of Alabama to clear us to come back home. We are really praying that we get clearance today, so that we can hop on a plane and show Harrison his home!
We’ve been in Texas for three weeks now (and Harrison is three weeks today!!), and let me just say, living out of suitcases in a hotel away from your family with a newborn is not fun. We have enjoyed the time we’ve spent together just the three of us, but we are so, so ready to be home. Harrison and I have both cried over that 😂
Thank you to everyone who has congratulated us with this adoption! I went into this thinking I would have more time to blog or respond to emails or read blogs, but….no lol! I’ve been pretty tired and I’ve also just spent as much time as I can just holding him. I promise once I get home I will get back to blogging!

Don't pressure yourself to get back to the blog sooner than you're ready. Polly is six months old (and this is my third rodeo) and I'm still not ready to blog with any regularity. I just want to HOLD HER ALL THE TIME. Keep the pictures coming, he's adorable!
He's absolutely beautiful! I've loved following your journey, but also we all understand where your priorities are, so don't sweat it….just enjoy your family. You guys deserve this time.

He is so cute! We haven't introduced paci's yet but will soon — wondering where you got that paci strap? All the ones I've seen aren't cute and I love how simple his is!
