Happy Monday! I’m typing this on Sunday night and I’m watching the adoption annoucement video from Bella + Dalin (some youtubers I follow who also have a little girl they adopted a couple of years ago) and it’s bringing back so many memories and emotions of when we adopted Banks and went from parents of 1 to parents of 2. The feelings were so much different introducing Harrison to Banks vs introducing Merritt to the boys–both equally as sweet and emotional–but we only got to introduce Harrison to Banks because of Banks’s wonderful birth parents and their selfless choice…it’s all because of them.
Anyway, that was on my mind since I was watching that video while typing this. Today I thought I’d share some life lately with y’all!

Our Thanksgiving break looked a lot like the above–lots of relaxation and Christmas movie watching!!! It was so nice and I soaked up every minute of it.

Lots of cheesin’ from this girl who was recovering from hand, foot, and mouth the week before.

We did Wednesday night with Dustin’s family and Thanksgiving night with my family. We had LOTS of good food and desserts ๐

Oh, and Banks stayed beside me the entire week. When I had to cook something for Thanksgiving, Banks was at my feet–literally haha! He’s almost 3 and still my velcro baby ๐

Mom and I went Black Friday shopping at 6 am and then picked my sister up at 10:30 to head to our favorite children’s clothing store for their BF sale!

Ready for the Iron Bowl!! It ended the way we wanted it to….now the SEC Championship was different and we were not happy during that game.

My partner teacher bought me a wreath for my door at school and it’s my first live wreath that I’ve ever had!

Three happy babies eating supper last week! I made a chicken lettuce wrap recipe for supper one night and everyone ate it except Banks ๐

Dustin and I went out last Thursday night and our babysitter sent me this picture (our other babysitter might not have been there yet)–my kids love her! Fun fact: she is one of my former students and she was such an amazing student that I trust her with my kids!

This is from yesterday after church! I LOVE dressing my kids seasonally and for holidays, so I am living for all of the Christmas prints and clothes.

Banks wanted to take our picture, too.

And then Harrison wanted to take our picture next!

And then I went into Merritt’s room to change her clothes before we ate lunch and I just had to take her picture in front of her tree ๐
I hope y’all have a great Monday!!!
