Before I start today’s house tour, I want to thank all of the veterans! I am so grateful for the men and women who are willing to serve our country so that we can sleep soundly at night knowing we are safe!
In between my monthly House Tour Tuesdays, I’ve been showing bits and pieces of our home. We finished building and moved into our home in June 2015. I’ve decided that even though I’m not finished decorating our house (and probably won’t be for a few years because…$$$), I still want people to come and feel welcome! You can click on this link to see the other areas of my home that I’ve posted about, but today we’re going to check out the master side of my home.
This is the only photo I took of our bedroom. It’s nothing special right now–I’m still searching for artwork that is meaningful instead of just buying something for the sake of buying.
The entrance to the bathroom is a pocket door and it tucks into the wall space to the right of the door frame. Does anyone have a suggestion of what I can put in that area since I’ve been told I can’t hang anything because of the pocket door?
Not pictured: the closet to the left of the mirror and the two windows.
Bathroom!!
When we build again, I’m getting separate vanities and I’m having tons of drawers on mine! I LOVE having separate sinks, but I use the two bottoms drawers and that’s not enough!
My FAVORITE part of my house!!! I’m in love with this shower! It’s huge and when we first moved in, I took extremely long showers!
I love taking a good bath too with lavender oil. I’ve found out that if I put my head on the end with the faucet, I can watch TV while bathing! #itsthelittlethings
This pocket door leads to our closet. I need major help organizing my shelves–which is why the door is closed 🙂
This door leads to my #1 request in a house….actually not #1 but definitely on my top 5 list when we were looking at home and house plans. If you know me at all, then you know how important it was for me to have a separate toilet room. #enoughsaid
I know I have a lot of work to do decorating and making our room more homey.
