Happy Monday, y’all! I’m on fall break today and tomorrow and so I am going to soak it all in….and pretend that it’s fall weather ha!
FRIDAY:
My coworkers wore their adoption shirt on Friday to show support for us!! I really work with the best people ever! These people loved and prayed for us during our infertility struggle, and now they are loving and praying for us during our adoption process!
That evening Dustin and I went to Oktoberfest in my mom and stepdad’s town. We had never gone before, but we thought it would be something fun for us to do and it was!!!! We walked around and checked out some new shops, the classic car show, and then I wanted to get some authentic German food and listen to the Beatles cover band. (You can see where my priorities were haha!!) I got the schnitzel and the red cabbage was so good!
Dustin got the bratwurst….boring 😜
We really had a great time and all I could think about was how next year we’d have a baby with us!!
SATURDAY:
I went to the mall with one of my friends that afternoon and ran into Dustin’s cousin and she happened to have her shirt on! We had to snap a quick picture!
We went and saw A Star Is Born and it was FANTASTIC!! The acting was amazing, the soundtrack was amazing, and Bradley Cooper’s directing was amazing! I wasn’t prepared for the end and cried a lot 🙈😂 If you go see it, just prepare yourself. We both felt like the movie was so good and felt so real.
SUNDAY:
Sunday we had church and then I came home and put on this fabulous outfit 😜 I am a huge fan of comfy clothes when I’m at home. I got these slippers for Christmas and I wear them every day. Best purchase ever.
I had a bridal tea to attend that afternoon and when I got home, I saw Dustin “asleep” in his favorite chair. Except that he wasn’t asleep and was trying to play a trick on me haha! Notice his La Croix next to him. Once I started drinking them, then he had to start drinking them!
I hope y’all have a great start to your week!! My sister’s birthday is Wednesday and I’m excited about the cake!

Ahhh red cabbage is so good! After you messaged me about it, I ended up having an Oktoberfest beer along with my brat, haha! So sweet everyone wore your shirts – I can't wait to wear mine!

I just saw this article and review of LaCroix on Yahoo and thought of you guys! I think they’ve found some less than stellar ingredients in it. Hooray for Fall Break! Soak it all in!
