Happy Monday, y’all! I hope you and your family are safe this morning. We had some major storms hit the South yesterday with lots of tornados, so it’s very sad to wake up to pictures of damage. Thankfully, my area wasn’t hit but plenty of other areas were.
Other than this being such a weird time, our Easter weekend was pretty nice.
I took this to send to Dustin on Friday. The transition from formula to milk was SO EASY. I was expecting it to be rough and that we may have to mix the two for a while, but nope, Harrison loves milk. The transition from bottle to sippy cup, however, has been much tougher. This picture happened after about 10 minutes of coaxing on my part and Harrison crying before he finally gave in and took his milk in a cup. Right now, I’m still keeping his bedtime bottle, but I’ll drop that soon.
Saturday I was putting clothes away in his room and he discovered that he could hide behind his curtains. I died laughing! I love his personality.
And then, since Easter was going to be bad weather and we’re all staying at home, I put his Easter outfit on him and took some pictures outside. Dustin was at work, so I just did pictures of Harrison.
I love a baby in a bonnet 🙂
Sunday morning Harrison slept in (Hallelujah!!!) and then enjoyed his Easter basket.
We had been “egged” overnight so he hunted Easter eggs!
Harrison napped through half of our church service online, so I was able to enjoy that half (I’m so thankful for nursery workers!!). Dustin and I cooked ourselves a mini Easter lunch with a spiral ham, mashed potatoes, and black eyed peas. And I made a strawberry cake for dessert!
He got a hat like his daddy in his Easter basket!
I forgot to get a family picture before the day was over. This will be an Easter we will always remember!
