My Birthday!

Happy Monday, y’all! Yesterday I celebrated my 33rd birthday! It was a REALLY great weekend because it was fall weather AND Hallmark Christmas movies started!

I thought it would be fun to share 33 things about me in honor of my birthday 🙂

33 Facts About Me!

1. My due date was on Halloween–thankfully that’s not my birthday!
2. I hate bananas…I don’t even want to smell them.
3. I also don’t like roller coasters. I’m always the person holding everyone else’s things LOL
4. I’m a morning person.
5. I really love Meghan Markle and the British Royal Family.
6. I am VERY particular about certain things in my life and my bedding is one of them. I cannot go to sleep unless my sheet and comforter are lined up evenly all the way around the bed.
7. It doesn’t take much to make me cry–books, movies, commercials, songs–anything that moves me.
8. I have a MAJOR sweet tooth and love cake and chocolate chip cookies the most.
9. I’m a Type 1 Enneagram.
10. My favorite movie ever is When Harry Met Sally. I can almost quote the entire movie.
11. I remember begging my parents to take my sister and I to see Destiny’s Child on a Sunday night. They did and the concert started way later than it was supposed to, but it was the best memory!!
12. I love learning about theology! I love reading and listening to podcasts.
13. I’ve been wearing glasses since the 3rd grade. Originally for reading only, but as my eyes have gotten worse, the more I have to wear them.
14. Speaking of glasses, I tried contacts. I had an appointment the day we found out about Harrison to the eye doctor. After spending 20 minutes trying to put in ONE contact by myself (with a former student trying to coach me), I left with an appointment to try again the following Monday. The night we got the call about Harrison, so needless to say, I haven’t been back LOL
15. I became a Christian when I was 13. The six months prior had been very tumultuous–my grandmother died suddenly and then my parents announced they were divorcing. I am so thankful the Lord called me to be His during that time.
16. I used to stand in line at Books A Million and wait for the next Harry Potter release at midnight.
17. I LOVE music! I’m not musical at all but I love listening to music. Harrison has learned to love it too, and now when I ask him if he wants to listen to music, he runs to the kitchen to stand in front of the Bose speaker.
18. My natural hair color is a very dark brown. It used to be a lighter brown, but it’s darkened as I’ve aged.
19. I keep a list in my phone of baby names I love. I’ve had that list going since 2012.
20. Clutter stresses me out.
21. I graduated cum laude from The University of Alabama.
22. I lived with my best friend for 3 years in college (I’m a year older) and those were the best 3 years of my life–right, Janie?! LOL
23. My favorite foods are chicken and pizza.
24. I would love to work in the fashion industry and considered it in college.
25. I never snuck out of my house in high school, but I did sneak out of a friend’s house one night 🙂 I’m such a rule follower that this was a big deal haha!
26. I love a glass of Moscato.
27. In order to lose weight after college, I started running December 2010 and ran consistently up until I started fertility treatments in 2016/17. I ran lots of 5ks, an 8k, and even a half marathon!
28. I used to run 3-5 days a week and would run no less than 2-3 miles.
29. My favorite Old Testament book of the Bible is Genesis.
30. My favorite New Testament book of the Bible is Romans.
31. Dustin and I were set up on a blind date by my coworker, Dana.
32. I won the spelling bee in the 5th grade and beat my then-boyfriend who came in 2nd haha!
33. I could watch the Hallmark Channel all day long.
