**Follow along with my sister and dad on their trip out west! My sister is blogging each day!
I can’t remember when I discovered podcasts, but I’m so glad I did because I will never go back! There are two types of podcasts I like to listen to–ones that help me learn something and ones that feel like conversations.
Today I want to share some of my favorite podcasts that I listen to!
The Doctor’s Farmacy
This podcast is so eye-opening to me! It was recommended to me maybe a year ago from an IG follower and I found it so fascinating that my mom now listens to it. I really am into functional medicine these days and how you don’t treat your illness, but you look at what’s causing it (I.e. your diet). Listening to this podcast along with reading a few other things really led me to buying our family organic foods and grass-fed/hormone free, organic meats.
Revive Our Hearts
I LOVE listening to Nancy Wolgemuth!!! I went to her Revive Our Hearts conference back in 2015 and she is just wonderful. She did a series on the book of Ruth that was great and a little series on Elizabeth Elliot’s life–those are just a few that I enjoyed. Her voice is really calming, too. I love that these episodes are less than 30 minutes because that makes them really feasible for me at this season of my life.
The Rise and Fall of Mars Hill
This podcast is amazing. It’s put on my Christianity Today magazine and it’s really professionally done. I was too young to really pay attention to the drama going on at Mars Hill church in Seattle, but I do remember reading news headlines when their pastor, Mark Driscoll, stepped down and then they shut down the church. I have learned so much and I really look forward to Tuesdays now!
The Bestie Breakdown
This podcast also comes out on Tuesdays and I’ve really loved their new season where they breakdown one topic per episode is great. I loved listening to their episode on botox where they also covered taking care of their skin and their episode on traveling with friends.
Heir Heads
Y’all know how much I love the British royal family! This podcast is the MOST interesting because both hosts are anti-monarchists who live in the UK (one is from England and the other Ireland) BUT they are so realistic in their views on the royals. There are things they criticize and there are things they praise. They are also fans of Meghan and Harry 🙂 (Beware…they do drop the f-bomb frequently in their episodes)
Knowing Faith
I’m saving the best for last! I love listening to Knowing Faith podcast. The hosts are hilarious–and I really love Jen Wilken and love doing her Bible studies. I learn so much from each podcast episode and have found myself Marco Polo-ing my best friend or calling my mom on the phone to tell her what I’ve learned. They’ve done seasons on The Apostle’s Creed and are just finishing the book of Genesis. The new season that’s about to start will be on the book of Romans and I’m really excited about that because it’s one of my favorite books of the Bible.
Others that I like listening to: The Heir Pod, Risen Motherhood, Signposts with Russell Moore, Say It Southern, Podcast Royal, and The Gospel Coalition Podcast.

I can’t wait to check out your recommendations! I do enjoy Bestie Breakdown, especially since they tweaked some technical things for this year. Thanks for linking up with Hello Monday! Tanya – The Other Side of the Road

Ok so I listened to all three episodes of the Mars Hill podcast, so so good!! My parents were missionaries and grew a church so I can relate to so much of what went on. And then I started the knowing faith podcast and also so good!! I am always looking for recommendations so thank you!!
