Friday Favorites!

Y’ALL–IT’S MY LAST FRIDAY OF SUMMER VACATION! It always flies by, but I’m over the extreme heat and I’m ready to wear a sweatshirt and turn my fireplace on ha! Anyone else with me? I truly love summer because I get to make my own schedule and I’m home with Harrison, but gosh, Alabama heat and humidity have been awful.

So, let’s get to my list of FAVORITES!

ONE

I have lots of favorites about this picture! My sister took a few pictures of Harrison during a farmer’s market mini session she offered, and during that time, I had asked her to get a picture of Dustin and I for our profile book cover. She also got a quick family picture of all 3 of us!

I’m wearing my summer FAVORITE tinted lip balm. I’m wearing the color “Fruit Punch” and it’s such a slight tint of color that I love it!!! And I also love that it’s a clean beauty brand.

TWO

Harrison REALLY loves train tracks, and he wanted me to take a picture of him in front of the train tracks downtown. He was too excited to even look at the camera 🙂

THREE

This was the first book I started reading with all of the books I bought at a conference I went to last month. (I wrote a post about it here). I am loving this book so much! I’ve highlighted a ton and now I’ve convinced my mom to read it after I’m done. There are so many great connections to what I feel like is ordinary life but ultimately is a way that I view worship–like saying the blessing before each meal. When I’m eating leftovers as something to heat up quickly, do I really thank God for the abundance of food He’s given me, or do I just quickly say the blessing? This book has been convicting.

FOUR

Harrison got a powerwheels jeep for Christmas, and I worried that he just wasn’t ever going to play with it. Well, that’s changed this summer because he’s decided it is the most fun! Harrison has been tearing up the road (and our grass) all summer long, and the funniest thing is….he’s actually a great driver! Dustin and I have both laughed at how great he is at driving. The other day he took his shirt off, grabbed Dustin’s hat, put it on backward, and ran out to his truck to do some driving in the backyard.

I’m off to enjoy this last Friday of summer!
