We finally got to celebrate Banks’s 3rd birthday with family on Saturday. Banks has been looking forward to his party (and cake) since his actual birthday last Saturday. I ended up moving the date for his party back a week after we were projected to have an ice storm that could have resulted in mass power outages. So I moved it back a week and we ended up having much colder weather with actual snow LOL!!
Banks loves super heroes right now and often refers to himself as Super Banks or Super Hero Banks :). Naturally, I planned a super hero party for him!

Notice his super hero cape :). He loved his birthday banner so much (made by a former student of mine!) and the only thing missing was his balloon garland I made–it covered up the top of his banner when it was hung, so I just left it off.
The next few pictures are terrible pictures of the food, but I waited until people started eating before I remembered to take pictures of the snacks I had for his party. Banks said it was the best ever!

Strawberries are Banks’s favorite so I wanted to figure out a way to include them.

Thanks Pinterest for this idea! Such a hit with the kids!

The spinach dip was so good!

I made Banks’s cupcakes! I made cupcakes like Mix and Match Mama makes her bundt cakes. Then I made a homemade buttercream icing with dye free dye.

Our super hero gang!
