Thank you Silver Stone for partnering with me on this post! As always, all opinions are my own.
1. CoverFX primer— I have naturally combination skin. My t-zone tends to be a little oilier and everything else is normal. This primer is great for skin that is prone to a break out, so I put it only on my t-zone. It works so well for me that I never have to touch my makeup up throughout the day!
2. Smashbox foundation— This is a new foundation for me, and I’ve only been using it for a month or so. It’s a medium to full coverage and buildable. The only thing I don’t like about this foundation is that it goes on very thin, so maybe it’s the brush I’m using??
3. Urban Decay concealer— Okay this concealer is AWESOME!! Sephora doesn’t carry the Shape Tape concealer that everyone is using, but the girl said this was pretty much the same thing. I love how well this concealer actually conceals without looking cakey or heavy. I put it on with my beauty blender.
4. L’Oreal Primer and Mascara– This is a Walmart buy–for all the money I like to spend on makeup, I don’t like to spend a lot of money on mascara. The primer has been a life saver to make my lashes look longer and thicker!
5. Urban Decay setting spray— My friend Victoria first mentioned this on her blog when she said she wore it while giving birth to her son, Beau, and her makeup looked flawless the entire time. I totally agree with her in that it keeps your makeup on all day AND it still looks the same. I’m telling y’all, I never reapply makeup because I never have to.
6. Beauty Blender— What did we do in life before beauty blenders? I use this to blend in my concealer. I’ve tried the Walmart kind to save money (I guess I was trying to prove to Dustin that I can be low maintenance) but it just wasn’t the same quality and it actually didn’t blend in my concealer as well.
BONUS: I forgot to take a picture of this, but I use translucent powder to put over my concealer! I have used this for a few years and will always use it!
