I’m starting to think about clothing for the beach for all of us, and surprisingly, I’m having a hard time finding something to wear at night. You’ll see below, but I really prefer wearing a maxi dress at the beach because it’s loose, flowy, and comfortable. I know this year I’ll be chasing around a one year old and bending over to pick him up a lot, so I don’t want to worry about flashing anyone when I bend over–not polite ha!

I actually did try this dress on Friday when Dustin and I ventured out to the mall. The fabric is so soft and flowy and not thick at all–perfect for the beach! Sadly, it was too tight in the chest, but I want it to work for someone. It’s on sale right now and then they are having an extra 25% off sale, so this is a great deal!
Yes, this dress isn’t a maxi, but it’s my exception for the beach! I actually own this dress in a different print and it’s one of my favorites. Very soft and easy to wear, and you can eat a ton at dinner and still feel comfortable haha!
Can you imagine how great this dress would look with a little tan (either real or fake!)? Replace the shoes with sandals or wedges and you’ve got a cute outfit to go to dinner in! I’m not the biggest fan of strapless dresses for myself, but I do like the button detailing down the front. It’s adds something new. Plus, this dress is under $100!! And it would look very cute this August/September with a jean jacket thrown over it for work.
Isn’t the print on this dress so fun? I love how it could be dressed up for a summer wedding or dressed down for the beach. This dress also comes in two other prints!
I fell in love with this dress the moment I saw it online! Green is not a color I typically gravitate toward, but I really love the design of this dress–simple and easy. Plus, I could really see this dress transitioning into early fall when it’s October here but still 80 degrees.
