(This post is filled with lots of pictures so feel free to skip this post. This is written for my memories in mind!)
This past week and weekend were jam packed with Christmas celebrations and birthday celebrations. I mentioned on Friday about how exhausted I was and this weekend didn’t leave any time to rest–but I’m so lucky that I’m able celebrate with those that I love and go and do what I want to do. Below are just snapshots of a few of the things I did this past week!
Abide Women’s Ministry Christmas Party–This was our 2nd annual Christmas party and it was a blast. I love serving and worshiping alongside these ladies.
Door prizes!
Thursday night was the Hartselle Christmas Parade! Last year Dustin worked that night (boo) but now that he’s on straight days, he was off! When I was a little girl, my grandfather owned a business downtown and before he retired, he used to park his truck outside his business early on parade day. All of the grandkids had a place to sit and watch the parade from! Spots downtown are valuable! This year Dustin and I carried on that tradition and he parked his truck downtown and one of his friends brought him home. Then I drove us back downtown that night in order to walk to our parade watching spot!
We also had some visitors!
Downtown before the parade started
Our parade consists of tractors…
…floats…
…and ends with horses!
Friday night I watched my first ever hockey game. We went with one of Dustin’s friends and his wife to watch the Huntsville Havoc.
Please note how exhausted I am haha
Saturday I did Christmas shopping for HOURS and then celebrated my mom’s birthday that night!!!
Sunday was my dad’s birthday!
And we all rode in his new vehicle!
And this is the last week of school before Christmas break!!! Can I just talk about how true this meme is?? They were going crazy last week so I can only imagine what this week will be like. But…exams!
