Friday Favorites

Happy Happy Saturday from a well-rested momma over here! Banks slept until 7 AM this morning which means so did I since Harrison spent the night with my mom. Banks has been waking up before 5 AM lately, so needless to say, we’ve all been exhausted over here.

I didn’t get a chance to blog yesterday so here are a few FAVORITES on a Saturday!!

We did our annual Shaneyfelt Christmas Light Drive By Wednesday night with the boys. Dustin and I each got a coffee (mine was decaf….sadly ha) and Harrison got a snowman cookie. We drove around an older area in town and then got home much later than planned and we all crashed that night. It’s crazy to think next year we’ll have THREE babies in the backseat!

Yesterday was our last day of work and my partner teacher/bestie and I showed up dressed like…

We both had on green tops, red lips, and curled hair! It was so funny that she texted me right before she got to school saying she had on red lipstick and felt a little weird with it on. I texted her this picture back…

So did I!! Haha! I’m wearing this lip stain that I love to wear during the holidays and around July 4th. I’m wearing shade 01.

If you’re looking for some white socks to wear with tennis shoes or Ugg outdoor shoes, these socks are great! They are reinforced from the toes to the heel and just really great quality. I felt like the price was great for the amount of socks you get, too!!

We have a busy weekend ahead of us! Dustin and I are knocking out the rest of the boys’ Christmas gifts tonight (hopefully) with a shopping date once he gets off work. Then tomorrow morning is church, as usual, and tomorrow afternoon/evening is our small group Christmas party that we’re all excited about!

Happy happy Friday, friends!!! Please say a little prayer for Banks this morning–he’s having a minor procedure done this morning.

Eeek!! I cannot get over how cute and sweet these boys are!! I took this when we got home from church. Banks is in one of Harrison’s old Christmas bubbles and I am loving dressing him in some of Harrison’s old clothes (at least ones that fit LOL). These boys are my biggest Christmas blessing 🙂

I’m a HUGE Colleen Rothschild fan and have been using their facial cleansing balm and moisturizer for maybe two years now? But I recently ran out and didn’t think to order replacements during their big Black Friday sale, so since Sephora was having a 20% off sale, I swung by before my OB appointment to find a replacement.

I had done some research and decided I wanted to try Farmacy since it’s a clean brand and the price was actually really good. I was talking to my best friend on the way to Sephora and it turns out, she also uses Farmacy, so it made me feel much better about trying it. Turns out…..I LOVE IT! The facial cleansing balm has a different consistency than the CR one that I’m used to, but it really cleans my face so well and makes it feel fresh. I am loving how smooth the moisturizer feels. As I was picking it out, a lady next to me said she’s already gone through 4 of the giant containers of the moisturizer and she has really sensitive skin. Even though I’ve only been using it for a couple of days, I am really really loving these Farmacy products!

I got this pregnancy pillow in on Tuesday and have been sleeping with it ever since. I’m so glad I finally broke down and bought one. This is a down alternative filled pillow but it’s not really flat like some down alternative pillows. I am a back sleeper, but I’m sleeping much better on my side now that I have this pillow!

Lastly, I don’t have a picture because it’s happening as I type this, but Dustin just got to feel Merritt kick for the first time ever! I wondered when he would be able to feel her kick, and as he was beside me while I was starting this blog post, she kicked really hard and I put his hand on my belly to see if he might could feel it–then she kicked him hard!

I had to have an ultrasound on Wednesday at my 24 week appointment for them to get a better picture of her blood flow out of her heart since they couldn’t at the anatomy scan, and I am still so amazed at this little miracle baby. I still cannot believe that we’re adding another baby to our family!

Yesterday one of my coworkers sent out an email that she had made cider and had cookies for us in the teacher mailroom. I walked in to get a cup of cider and saw her set up. SO CUTE! And in the background, classical music was playing. I know I’ve said this before, but I truly love the people I work with. Her thoughtfulness made a boring Thursday special.

If you’re looking for a good toddler sippy cup or even a great transition cup, these are the best! I used these for Harrison and now Banks gets a cup of water when he eats table food for a meal. He loves drinking out of this cup, so I’m very hopeful that the transition away from a bottle when he turns one will be very easy.

Last weekend was youth hunt weekend in Alabama, so Harrison got to go hunting for the first time. He had a blast! There were so many kids at Dustin’s hunting club that he had a lot of friends to play with in between hunts. And while they were hunting…

Banks and I were hanging out at home taking it easy (or as easy as Banks would let me LOL). Banks decided on Saturday that he would NOT be taking his normal afternoon nap–which is the nap where I was going to nap–so I was exhausted by the time Saturday night rolled around 🙂
